|
Does anybody want to use a building, which does not have proper water supply and/or electricity and /or sanitary system? Does anybody want to use any building, which does not have adequate telephone connection, ventilation system, fire detection � protection system? Surely no. Same is the case for a standard user, who need his/her building to be provided with CCTV, paging, TV- Transmitter antenna signal distribution, computer network facilities and so on.
To design, to prepare technical specification, bill of quantities, to construct those utility services and also to operate those utility services of any building and industry, the engineers, designers must have to acquire knowledge of standard utility services for buildings and industries.
Buildings and industries, now a days require their utility services not like ten -twenty years before. To-day these require many modern system and equipment to be incorporated to satisfy the users, to serve purpose of the users.
